It seems that about one million years ago humans began to develop a faculty hitherto unknown on the planet. And the Earth had seen some! This faculty was the use of language. We started talking. Later we distilled our thoughts into writing, and later again we started reproducing our writings by employing the printing press. In recent years we see the development of the blogosphere, a world of instantaneous spreading of ideas across the planet.

This section of the site is about language, communication, the influence of language on culture and our psyche. Or maybe should I say: this site is on language.

The way in which humans employ language seems to be unique, fundamentally different from how other species use it. Humans create what I call a mirror world, and this aspect of mirroring is what intrigues me to no end.

The section is divided into categories with articles, short stories, and one on books.
